Once, Newton came to India and watched a few Tamil movies that had his head spinning. He was convinced that all his logic and laws in physics were just a huge pile of junk and apologized for everything he had done.
In the movie of Rajanikanth, Newton was confused to such an extent that he went paranoid.
Here are a few scenes
1) Rajanikanth has a Brain Tumor which, according to the doctors can't be cured and his death is imminent. In one of the fights, our great Rajanikanth is shot in the head. To everybody's surprise, the bullet passes through his ears taking away the tumor along with it and he is cured! Long Live Rajanikanth!
2) In another movie, Rajanikanth is confronted with 3 gangsters. Rajanikanth has a gun but unfortunately only one bullet and a knife. Guess, what he does? He throws the knife at the middle gangster? & shoots the bullet towards the knife. The knife cuts the bullet into 2 pieces, which kills both the gangsters on each side of the middle gangster & the knife kills the middle one.
3) Rajanikanth is chased by a gangster. Rajanikanth has a revolver but no bullets in it. Guess, what he does. Nah? not even in your remotest imaginations. He waits for the gangster to shoot. As soon as the gangster shoots, Rajanikanth opens the bullet compartment of his revolver and catches the bullet. Then, he closes the bullet compartment and fires his gun. Bang... the gangster dies...
This was too much for our Newton to take! He was completely shaken and decided to go back. But he happened to see another movie for one last time, and thought that at least one movie would follow his theory of physics. The whole movie goes fine and Newton is happy that all in the world hasn't changed. Oops, not so fast!
The 'climax' finally arrives. Rajanikanth gets to know that the villain is on the other side of a very high wall. So high that Rajanikanth can't jump even if he tries like one of those superman techniques that our heroes normally use. Rajanikanth has to desperately kill the villain because it's the climax. (Newton dada is smiling since it is virtually impossible?) Rajanikanth suddenly pulls two guns from his pockets. He throws one gun in the air and when the gun has reached above the height of the wall, he uses the second gun and shoots at the trigger of the first gun in air. The first gun fires off and the villain is dead.

About Budget 2007-By IT Giants
Union Budget 2007 has disappointed India Inc. The IT industry seems particularly miffed at some of the proposals. Here are some of the voices from the industry on the Budget and the impact it would have on the sector.
"The impact would be substantial for the industry, but a little less for us as we pay slightly higher withholding tax in most key overseas markets such as the US and Europe and enjoy double taxation avoidance credit. The net negative impact for Infosys, therefore, would be about 1.5 % of our total net income."

Big Brother-Shilpa Wins!
Sensational Shilpa has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother after polling 67% of the final vote. A window-smashing scream welcomed the news, along with disbelief from the shocked actress. "Are you kidding me?" she bawled, accompanied by the compulsory waterworks.

Unlike earlier sobbing sessions, these were definitely tears of joy. Following her farewell to Jermaine she dashed to the toilet to gain some composure. Amidst an awesome firework display, she emerged to an adoring crowd and frantically blew kisses. History has been made. The self-proclaimed 'Angelina Jolie' of Bollywood, Shilpa's stay has been dominated by culinary-related rows and flirtations with a certain A-Team legend.

A beacon of calm when engulfed in a verbal storm, Shilpa's outlook was perhaps helped by her regular meditation sessions. She even gave Carole and Ken a tutorial on Day 2! But when Jackiey and Jade came in to form their extended Family, it wasn't long before sparks started to fly. Who knew that the pronunciation of a two-syllable name would prove so problematic? Shilpa's devotion to feeding the housemates didn't quite win her unanimous support, as Danielle, Jade and Jo debated the health and safety of her chicken. And then came the great stock cube argument...
But Shilpa managed to sail through stormy waters with her head held high and her oversized sunglasses firmly secured. Apologies and cider were soon heaped upon her and her infectious laughter was regularly heard bouncing off the walls of the House.
Especially when there was a spot of Dirky Dancing... Ah yes, Dirk. The articulate actress attracted the attention of a certain lovestruck A-Team star and their frequent fliratations were welcome relief. Dirk admitted tcarrying a torch for her back on Day 5, but alas the fire never quite ignited between them.
She also formed a close bond with Jermaine, who functioned as 'her rock' in times of need. And with child-like wonder, she witnessed her first snow fall on Day 22. Her time in the House was definitely full of emotion and incident, and she has won over a legion of new fans.
Shilpa - the deserved winner of Celebrity Big Brother - we salute you!

ATM-->Robbers
Adding to my previous post a good initiative taken by all banks to help investigate on ATM-Thefts.
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM
machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.
For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The
ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you
placed in the
machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to
the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is
seldom used because people don't know it exists.

Microsoft Partners with Novell for Suse Linux
According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft has entered into a partnership with Novell Inc. to offer sales support and technology sharing for Novell's Suse Linux product.
While the deal has yet to be finalized, it represents a surprising new alliance between two warring sides in the operating system world. CEO Steve Ballmer made the announcement at a San Francisco news conference that Linux plays an "important role" in many companies, including Microsoft itself. "We see huge potential upside in these markets."
Novell's Suse Linux is currently the second largest commercial Linux distribution, with first place going to Red Hat. As a result of the announcement, shares in Novell jumped 16% to $6.79.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but one of the high points is the expected construction of a joint research facility where the two companies can design and test their software together. Improvements in compatibility between Microsoft Office and OpenOffice are also expected.
Speculation about the long-term outcome of this union has begun already. Frank Artale, vice-president of XenSource, noted that Microsoft's embracing of Suse Linux as opposed to another particular variant could cause a "halo effect" in that the association between the two could make users choose it over another distribution. The open-source community also may have reservations about using a distribution that is "sleeping with the enemy."
As another part of the deal, Microsoft agreed not to file patent infringement charges against Suse users, and Novell has agreed not to sue users of Windows.

Now it's Chennai Turn
IT professional abducted, molested
CHENNAI:In a shocking incident that exposes the absence of security, a young woman working with a software company was allegedly abducted in a share autorickshawand molested by two youth last week.
Worse, the police have almost hit a dead end in the case as the victim, on the advice of her parents, has allegedly refused to lodge a formal complaint and the identity of the accused has not been established.
According to police sources, the 22-year old woman had left on the evening of Wednesday last hired ashare autorickshaw just outside her office in Thoraipakkam to go to herresidence in Velachery.
The victim told us that it was raining that day and the autorickshaw driver had rolled the shutter sheet down. Midway through the journey she peeped outside and found that the autorickshaw was not proceeding on the Velachery route and attempted to raise an alarm.
Immediately, a youth aged around 25 who was seated next to the driver jumped on to the back seat, slapped her and ordered her to keep her mouthshut, a police officer said.
In the meantime, the girl had managed to alert her friends by sending SMS messages through her mobile phone.
As the vehicle neared a college campus in Karapakkam on the outskirts, the two men dragged her out of the vehicle to a bushy area and raped her. Hearing the victim scream, the security guards of the college blew the whistle alerting apatrol vehicle.
Meanwhile, the police and her parents were alerted by the girl's friends and they launched a hunt for her along the Thoraipakkam Road . Finally, thepatrol vehicle personnel spotted her near the college with her dress torn andgot her admitted to a private hospital in Velachery, the officer said.
The driver and his accomplice had fled the scene much earlier after taking away the girl's gold chain and a bag containing an ATM card and cash.
Though the girl did not lodge a formal complaint, the Thoraipakkam police intercepted several share autorickshaws and sought to match the description provided by the girl with that of the driver's.
"We have not achieved a breakthrough so far but we are hoping to convincethe victim to lodge a complaint which is crucial to nail the accused" the officer added

4. The train is so crowded that you cannot get anywhere near that nice girl at the other end, You wish there was 'zoom & view full screen'in life!
5. After marriage you realize that there is bound to be a mismatch, You wish there was an 'evaluation period' or atleast a 'sample download' or a 'demo version'!

Okhil Chandra Sen wrote this letter to the Sahibganj Divisional Railway Office in 1909. It is on display at the Railway Museum in New Delhi. It was also reproduced under the caption "Traveller Tales" in the Far Eastern Economic Review.
"I am arrive by passenger train Ahmedpur station and my
belly is too much swelling with jackfruit. I am therefore went
to privy. Just I doing the nuisance that guard making whistle
blow for train to go off and I am running with 'lotah' in one
hand and 'dhoti' in the next when I am fall over and expose all
my shocking to man and female women on plateform. I am got leaved
at Ahmedpur station.
This too much bad, if passenger go to make dung that dam
guard not wait train five minutes for him. I am therefore pray
your honour to make big fine on that guard for public sake.
Otherwise I am making big report to papers."

The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have not
held many fish for decades. So to feed the Japanese population,fishing boats got
bigger and went farther than ever.
The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring in the fish.If the
return trip took more than a few days, the fish were not fresh. The Japanese did not
like the taste.
To solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They
would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go
farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between
fresh and frozen and they did notlike frozen fish. The frozen fish brought a lower
price.
So fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them
in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, the fish stopped moving.
They were tired and dull, but alive.
Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the difference. Because the fish did
not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese preferred the
lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish.
So how did Japanese fishing companies solve this problem? How do they get
fresh-tasting fish to Japan?
To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in

Blogger, the Originated Story
Pyra Labs is the company who discovered/coined/invented the word Blogger and made the service a big success. That’s why most of our time is being eaten here.
Evan Williams and Meg Hourihan the founder, and the company's first product, also named 'Pyra', was a web application which would combine a project manager, contact manager, and to-do list. In 1999, while still in beta, the rudiments of Pyra were repurposed into an in-house tool which became Blogger. The service was made available to the public in August 1999, when likely fewer than 100 web logs existed. Much of this coding was done by Paul Bausch and Matthew Haughey.
Initially, Blogger was completely free and there was no revenue model. When the company's seed money dried up, the employees continued without pay for weeks or, in some cases, months; but this could not last, and eventually Williams faced a mass walk-out by everyone including co-founder Hourihan. Williams ran the company virtually alone until he was able to secure an investment by Trellix after its founder Dan Bricklin became aware of Pyra's situation. Eventually advertising-supported blogspot and Blogger Pro emerged.
In 2002, Blogger was completely re-written in order to license it to other companies, the first of which was Brazilian mega-corp Globo. I started blogging 2003(introduced by Cogito), deleted and recreated many times due to my inexperience in XML coding.
That is the time where Google started acquiring companies at 2003. As a sweep Google acquired Blogger in 2003 and become familiar to everybody. The people at Pyra Labs at the time of acquisition were Evan Williams, Jason Shellen, Steve Jenson, Rudy Winnacker, Jason Sutter, and Jason Goldman. Still I remember the day when left Blog with tears
In 2004, Evan Williams left Google. In 2006, Jason Goldman left Google.

Australian air Express joins iCargo initiative
Australian air Express, Australia's premier nationwide express air freight service, has joined the Core Group of Influence (CGI) Forum set up by IBS Software Services and will participate in the development of a next generation air cargo and logistics management system, "iCargo".
Australian air Express becomes the fifth member of the CGI Forum, which currently has on it as members Air New Zealand Cargo, Gulf Air, South African Airways Cargo and Qantas Freight.
IBS Software Services, a global IT company providing solutions to the Travel Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industry and based in Technopark here, embarked on the development of iCargo in 2003. The system is a new generation design using the latest Web-based tools and multi-tiered architecture, which will be a catalyst for change for cargo carriers within the logistics industry.
iCargo will enable the airlines, ground handlers and freight forwarders to enhance cargo business profitability and respond rapidly to changing market conditions, said Mr V.K. Mathews, Chairman and Managing Director, IBS Group.

Google on Wireless
Google has opened a wireless Internet umbrella over its hometown in northern California's high-tech Silicon Valley, enabling anyone in the city to connect online for free.
"It worked smashingly," Chris Sacca, Google head of special initiatives, said on Wednesday. "We have really been looking forward to this day. The citizens have embraced it as their network."
Google spent one million dollars creating a network that lets people with wireless-enabled computers, telephones or other devices to link to the Internet nearly anywhere in the city of Mountain View, which covers almost 31 sqkm.
Google affixed WiFi antennae to city-owned lamp posts and was working with residents who have offered their homes as antenna spots in 'dead zones.'
The cost of running the system was "phenomenally cheap" and the network was in keeping with Google's belief in universal access to the Internet and the world's information, according to Sacca.
"One of the main goals of the project was to inspire citizens to realize there is this promise of access and at the same time to inspire entrepreneurs to develop networks," Sacca said.
"What better way to go ahead and put your money where your mouth is than to build a network and show that it works."
The wireless network also provides Google's more than 1,000 employees in the city opportunities to experiment with new technologies and services.

Doctor Vs Mechanic
Doctors are considered as GOD, even mechanics also, when there is a necessasity. But there is a huge difference between both the way they work here is an example story.
A mechanic was removing the cylinder heads from the motor of a car when he spotted the famous heart surgeon in his shop, who was standing off to the side, waiting for the service manager to come to take a look at his car.
The mechanic shouted across the garage,"Hello Doctor! Please
come over here for a minute." The famous surgeon, a bit surprised,
walked over to the mechanic.
The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked argumentatively, "So doctor, look at this. I also open hearts, take valves out, grind 'em, put in new parts, and when I finish this will work as a new one. So how come you get the big money, when you and me is doing basically the same work? "
The doctor leaned over and whispered to the mechanic....
"TRY TO DO IT WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING..."

Security Patches

Hi All,
I would like to share one incident which happened to my friend Gawtham, (He is working in Valtech), today early morning. He is staying in Belandur came from his native town to banglore at 4 AM. From Silk board he got into an auto and got down at Belandur (Out Ring Road, near Intel Office) and walked towards his house.
Suddenly one Toyota Qualis came and stopped in front of him and took him inside vehicle and started to move. Inside the vehicle there were 5 people including driver and already caught two girls. (My friend saw that girl's ID card and found they are
Wipro employees). They have tied everyone's legs ,hands and plastered their mouth.
Those thieves had taken all the credit cards as well as money from him. They asked him ATM PIN number for this debit card. This guy had given wrong number.One of the thief went to the ATM and tried withdrawing it.
Then he come to know it is invalid number. They beaten him up severely front and back. His hands got fractured and they had cut his fingers,hands using knife.
Then he told the correct number , those thief had withdrawn 18,000 from the ATM and
threw him away in some place near to Ramamoorthy nagar. He shouted for help. It is early in the morning ,everyone scared to come and have a look . He slowly moved towards the road and got a help from one kind heart person who had given him hundred rupees. He caught the auto and came to my house.
I couldn't able to forget the way he came to my house.This hands and legs are fully blooded as if he was met in an accident done by the vehicle. This back side has the red marks. I took him to the hospital.He is getting treatment now. He doesn't know what happened to those girls till now.
If you are staying late night , Plz Go only by your office cab.Take to your home for dropping you.
Folks, This is happened early in the morning. Make sure while coming from your native to bangalore, you will be reaching between 5 to 6AM and getdown in the Bus stand where there is crowd. But be very careful on your way to house. Unfortunately, If you are getting caught by thief, Give your cards,ATM number,jewels everything. Your Life is more precious than your money and belongings.
If it is not very important dont carry your credit and ATM cards everyday with you.
Please fowrard this information to all your dear ones and friends.

Abhinav - A new Rifle Mantra
Abhinav Bindra, a new Shooter who is ready for Advertisement Agencies to book for their products. Starting the year on a glorious note, ace shooter Abhinav Bindra bagged the gold medal in the Air Rifle event in Intershoot Den Haag-2005 Championship in The Hague, Holland. After this event he is qualified for Olympics 2008. He is the 5th person, prior to him Anjali, Rathore, Gagan, and Manav Jith were participated in Olympics.
Rifle, is emerging in the games and we are slowly moving ahead in Tennis, Shuttle Badminton (my Fav), chess, squash and Racing. This shows a good sign in Indian sports, let advertisement people start glimpsing on them to make them popular.

Poultry owners across the country can finally take a sigh of relief as the vaccine for bird flu has been developed. The Indian Council for Agriculture Research of Bhopal has made this breakthrough development. The vaccine is in the trial stage now.

pay or profile.
Early this year, Arun, a senior software designer, got an offer from a prestigious international firm to work in its India operations developing specialized software. He was thrilled by the offer.
He had heard a lot about the CEO. The salary was great. The company had all the right systems in place employee-friendly human resources (HR) policies, a spanking new office,and the very best technology,even a canteen that served superb food.
Twice Arun was sent abroad for training. "My learning curve is the sharpest it's ever been," he said soon after he joined. Last week, less than eight months after he joined, Arun walked out of the job.
Why did this talented employee leave ? Arun quit for the same reason that drives many good people away. The answer lies in one of the largest studies undertaken by the Gallup organization. The study surveyed over a million employees and 80,000
managers and was published in a book called "First Break All The Rules". It came up with this surprising finding:
If you're losing good people, look to their immediate boss.Immediate boss is the reason people stay and thrive in an organization. And he 's the reason why people leave. When people leave they take knowledge,experience and contacts with them, straight to the competition.
"People leave managers not companies," write the authors Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman. Mostly manager drives people away? HR experts say that of all the abuses, employees find humiliation the most intolerable. The first time, an employee may not leave,but a thought has been planted. The second time, that thought gets strengthened. The third time, he looks for another job.
When people cannot retort openly in anger, they do so by passive aggression. By digging their heels in and slowing down. By doing only what they are told to do and no more. By omitting to give the boss crucial information. Dev says: "If you work for a jerk, you basically want to get him into trouble. You don 't have your heart and soul in the job."
Different managers can stress out employees in different ways - by being too controlling, too suspicious,too pushy, too critical, but they forget that workers are not fixed assets, they are free agents . When this goes on too long, an employee will quit - often over a trivial issue. Talented men leave. Dead wood does'nt.
