1991" Now furious, another student yells, "Oh yeah? Suck this!" Suzuki jumps out of his chair waving his hand! and shouts to the teacher, "Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky, 1997!"
Now with almost a mob hysteria someone said, "You little shit. If you say
anything else, I'll kill you." Suzuki frantically yells at the top of his voice, "[California Congressman]Gary Condit to Chandra Levy 2001." (The teacher fainted.)
And as the class gathered around the teacher on the floor, someone said,

Women World Cup
India Vs Australia, IWCC World cup Final
Pity on these girls, most of them knows that there is final match and due to lack of sponsors I am not able to watch this match in any of the channels.

Karen Rolton became only the second player to make a century in a Women's World Cup final as Australia outclassed India by 98 runs to win the trophy. Rolton hit 11 fours in her 107 not out off 138 balls at Centurion Park. She put on 139 for the fourth wicket with Indian-born Lisa Sthalekar, who was caught and bowled in the final over of Australia's innings for 55.
Four run outs wrecked India's hopes and Cathryn Fitzpatrick picked up two late wickets as they were all out for 117.

Muzzaffarbad-Bus
Bus is the cheap and best for Indians, I got a story regarding this bus journey though there is lot of controversy
A few months ago Fatima Begum was in bed with heart problems and hypertension.
But a piece of news on television helped get the 75-year-old widow in Indian Kashmir back on her feet.
The hunched, toothless woman was overjoyed to discover that a bus service was planned to connect Indian Kashmir with the Pakistani side for the first time in more than half a century and possibly reunite her with a daughter whom she last saw 24 years ago.
"The atmosphere has changed. I thought it would not be possible to see Hafiza again ... I can't express my joy," Begum said. "I will also see my son-in-law and grandchildren for the first time."
Although Hafiza and her family were to travel by the first bus due to be launched on Thursday, a last minute hitch forced them to postpone their trip until the second bus in two weeks time.
"While Hafiza got a travel permit for the first bus her daughter was listed for the second bus," said Bilal Ahmed, Begum's government employee son. "We are a bit disappointed but we are still happy that she will come two weeks later."
The desire of Begum's divided family to meet, like thousands of others in the disputed Himalayan region, has repeatedly been thwarted by tensions between India and Pakistan.
The rivals fought over Kashmir soon after gaining freedom from British colonial rule in 1947 and the conflict ended up splitting the scenic mountainous state across a ceasefire line.
Another war, regular sabre-rattling, a bloody insurgency and decades of entrenched diplomatic positions ensued.
But an agreement this year to launch the historic cross-border bus service, has been the most tangible gain yet of a slow peace process between the two countries.
The Begum family's narrow house in a dusty alley in Srinagar, summer capital of Indian Kashmir, was getting a new coat of paint before Hafiza's arrival.
Shawls, gold chains and rings have been bought as presents for the travellers from across the frontier, a traditional Kashmiri feast has been planned and dozens of relatives have been invited.
The occasion is extra special as Begum's daughter's marriage -- to a government employee in Pakistani Kashmir -- was performed with only two brothers of the bride in attendance.
"The last time she was here, we had not even imagined that we would have to wait for 24 years to see her again," said Mohammad Amin, Hafiza's carpenter brother, smiling as he showed fading photographs of his sister's wedding.
"After the bus was announced she called and congratulated us saying she is going to be on the first bus. Inshallah (god willing), she will be here," he said.
Islamic guerrillas fighting Indian rule in Kashmir have threatened to sabotage the bus service and kill passengers saying it served New Delhi's aims to hold on to Kashmir.
But Amin was unruffled.
"Death is a certainty in life and we are not scared," he said. "This is the first step to foster friendship between the two sides and India and Pakistan should take more steps like this as people on both sides are involved."
Brother Bilal Ahmed had more immediate concerns about his sister's visit.
"She can't stay for more than a month and I am so afraid that we won't get enough time with her or show her around places here."

Google-Video
Google Inc. plans to put out a call for personal video clips as it moves to further expand the reach of its Web search business, company co-founder Larry Page said on Monday.
"We're going to start taking video submissions from people," Page said at the annual cable industry convention in San Francisco. Google in January rolled out the test version of its video search service that allows users to find content in television programs from such providers as Fox News, the NBA and PBS.
The service, called Google Video, allows users to see still images from the video clips and associated closed-captioning. Google has search relationships with numerous content and broadband providers and hopes to extend those into new areas. For example, cable company Comcast Corp. uses Google search on its site and also creates its own content.
Already Yahoo is working on Radio and MS working on TV programs. Mm, no need of watching TV also in future. I beleive Altavista done it in a long back..

Linux lags Windows in new security
A report released today indicates Windows Server 2003 may actually be more secure than its most popular Linux competitor when it comes to vulnerabilities and the time it takes to patch them. But well before the paper's official release, members of the IT security community have questioned the comparison, with some slamming the researchers' methodology and others the Microsoft connection -- the software giant funded the research behind the favorable findings.
"The fact that Security Innovations [which produced the paper] retained 'editorial control' doesn't help; if Microsoft is paying the bills, there can be all sorts of nonverbal pressure behind the scenes. It isn't like it was 'co-funded' by both Microsoft and Red Hat," said Michael D. "Mick" Bauer, senior editor of Linux Journal and director of value-subtracted services for Wiremonkeys.org.

Competing with Yahoo is not so easy, even Google came with 1 gb storage in Gmail, yahoo enhanced the storage space and retained their users 90%. Yahoo messenger, geocities, yahoo photos are the big base for Yahoo. Yahoo acquired Geocities for personal web pages for their users, now Yahoo have acquired the Flickr photo sharing service website and its parent company, Ludicorp Research & Development. Though Bloggers using Flickr for their photo blogs, yahoo keeps it in their mind and have acquired it.

Bangalore-based software and BPO services firm MphasiS is acquiring US-based IT healthcare company Eldorado Computing for $16.5mn, in an all-cash deal. Eldorado offers IT solutions to the healthcare and insurance sector.
It means Indian IT's are investing a lot to get rid in the race. MMhh, earning in $'s to pay in Rs thro $'s. Great Idea!

Corruption No.4
India is among the fourth most corrupt countries in Asia but graft in China poses the biggest global threat because of the country's growing economic influence, a consulting firm said on Tuesday in a study.
Other countries which came in at the bottom of the annual graft rankings by the Political and Economic Risk Consultancy Ltd included Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.
Singapore was the least corrupt, followed by Japan and Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea, the firm said.
The report said Indonesia was Asia's most corrupt nation, ranking 9.25 on a scale from zero to 10. "The issue of corruption could make or break Indonesia," the report said
The firm said that the Philippines which ranked No. 2 on the graft list with a score of 8.9 needed to beef up its anti-corruption forces. There's a backlog of 2,000 cases in the country's anti-graft court, the report said.
Vietnam was No. 3 on the list because corruption is rampant in powerful state-controlled companies and government ministries, the report said.
India was fourth on the list, partly because the country's "suffocating bureaucracy" created plenty of opportunities for payoffs to cut through red tape, the report claimed.

Green City???
This name might be true before 4 years, not now. Due to fast growth in IT market, bangalore has polluted with CO2. Trees are loosing their life, remaining trees are all wearing Dust dress. God, B.lore is being polluted by 2 & 4 wheelers. Roads are all changing their roles to one-way, no entry. I don’t know how city traffic police is controlling this heavy traffic.
Traffic is the biggest head-ache for people nowadays. Even Govt is thinking to change the School timings from 11 am to 7 pm. Culture? Hheheh night shift culture obviously, pubs are all floating in week ends with girls and boys. Money flow is really grown like anything in these 2 years. Anyway IT people are all loading their pockets easily. Consultants are God to Employees and Employers.

TN-Anti-Corruption
There is no difference in DMK and ADMK in corruption, they know how to do and how to come out of the problems if they face it. Everybody knows the Bribe cases against CM’s (as Sathyaraj said in MahaNadigan. the first job when CM sworn to arrest the previous CM).
As per an analysis, RTO, Collectorate, Thasildar office is the topper in Bribes. When I came back from UK, I planned to register my vehicle. I have not registered for 7 months so that I want to check with the broker to reduce my penalty for 7 months. After then I discussed with one of my friend for the procedure to do, came to know it is very simple however I have to dedicate 2 or 3 days for this.
My action starts on Tuesday to get an acknowledgement from Salem RTO for some paperwork. Surprisingly I have got the paper with out bribing there. In second day I went to Thiruchengode RTO to register my car. I gone with my car and spoke to RTO directly (NRI-nnu sonna mathipae thanipa), so that the process went faster as usual. He asked me to submit my papers and calculated the exact fine. He given quote that I how much I have to pay. I usually don’t bargain or bribe. So I have accepted and paid the money (got back 50p as a balance). As we have other work on that day I asked RTO to get my number ASAP. He asked me to wait for 2 hours, which was not possible, us to stay there. I told RTO that we are leaving would come back next day. He said okay and he asked to collect the paper after 1 week (my RC book, tax bill.etc). Around 6 pm I got a call from RTO and got my number. I amazed, surprised.... no words to say.
I know Amma is doing a great job in Anti-corruption; it may happen in somewhere else not directly to the Public. Though a great fan of DMK I happened to appreciate the way they have behaved and worked. After then I called RTO for thanking him and came to know that bribing was reduced in RTO office, as Anti-bribe raid 3 RTO-office(they got 1 crore in Trichy Office in oneday)
I hope TN is doing great also ADMK government, will reach No1 asap.

This time i had a confident that My favorite actor Jhonny Depp will not get the awards as Ray has the wave, however I was expecting Ashwin's Little Terrorist will get award in short film category, better luck next time Ashwin. WASP overtaken Little Terrorst. Happy to hear that frequently Indian films are also getting to Nominees now, still we have improve a lot to get the awards. If we stop producing movies like Sukran, Dreams etc, then We will knock Oscar doors in all categories.

Kannadigas
When I entered Bangalore I found people talks several languages like tamil, kannada, hindi, telegu. However as most of the tamilians are living here Tamil may be the widely talking lanugage. At that time I felt that Kannada speaking people is very less and it is fadding in its way. After that I found most of the kannadigas knows minimum 3 languages(Kannada, Tamil, Hindi), this is becoz I believe the way they were brought up.
Yesterday there was a meeting in my team and all of them spoken in 4 languages(with out any problem). My Team Lead started the meeting in the Offcial language Englsh, continued and explaining tasks in Hindi, english, kannada and tamil too. I was able to understand any of these languages, with out any hassle(Learnt Kannada when I was staying with Kannadigas in UK).
I feel now Kannadigas knows more than Kannda also, which doesnt mean that Kannada is fadding and will die. Political Guys in Tamilnadu please dont go for any anti languages strike for your political popularity. Language is only the mediate to people for make understand their feelings to others. Kannadigas knows more languages as they meet different language talkng people day-by-day.
However Bangalore has lot of changes in the past 2 years, will be in the next blog that How bangalore is getting worser by people ....

Racism
It is nothing bad when we we Do Ctrl C & Ctrl V for the great post, Thanks for Cernar for posting such a great Mail. I have faced such issues in my life also.
Scene took place on a British Airways flight between Johannesburg
and London. White woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a
black man. Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air Hostess.
"Madam, what is the matter," the hostess asked. "You obviously do not
see it then?" she responded. "You placed me next to a black man. I do
not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me
an alternative seat." "Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost
all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another
place is available." The Hostess went away and then came back a few
minutes later. "Madam, Just as I thought, there are no other
available seats in the economy class. I spoke to the captain and he
informed me that there is also a seat in the business class. All the
same, we still have one place in the first class." Before the woman
could say anything, the hostess continued: "It is not Usual for our
company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first
class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it
would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so
disgusting." She turned to the black guy, and said, "Therefore, Sir,
if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits
you in first class." At that moment, the other passengers who were
shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded

Back to Work

Back to Form
Returned back to India, Tiruppur and struggle on Tiruppur roads, A great get together after 10 years, sudden changes in my life. Lot more to share, wait for another 2 days.
